The WikiWay always works
In the Tiki community everything is done the wiki way: coding, cooking, communicating and anything else (also stuff not starting with "c"). The principle of highly effective collaboration like it is done in a wiki can be applied anywhere. And this understanding of process is what makes the wiki so powerful in the first place. It is a social tool, not a technological one.
Also with other wiki engines
I prefer TikiWiki for it's many other features that allow me to produce much more complex sites with more logic in the backend than a vanilla wiki can provide. But sometimes you want just that, no fancy bells and whistles - just a quick'n'easy wiki to get the job done. I have had lots of fun with TiddlyWiki - which really is nothing like the wiki engine you usually imagine... ;)
